We are green

I’m not environmental expertise but I know well the effect that a bad use and exploitation, or a bad social use of our environment brings as a result.

In my opinion, a good use of our environment star whit become knowledgeable of our environment and the people who are part of your environment. So you can build and acquire knowledge from you immediate surrounding because you can learn about the topic online in your work, in the street, school, etc.

In my home, we use the recycling. We have the habit of classify according to material. So, the thing made of carton is provided to my neighbor that gathers carton. Object such as battery and similar things, is provided to places for these purposes.

I use my bicycle every time I can. But, honestly is because I love my bicycle (The name of my bike is “Nena” hahaha) and because is cheap. I love go here and there walking and Im happy because unconsciously I help to care my environment and saving a lot of money. I think that use my bike, walk and the recycle in my home is my best contribution for reduce my carbon footprint

I never joined in an eco-organization. I don’t know the reason, I suppose that is for time and because take on a commitment is seriously and maybe is not the time for me. But I support all this organizations because they do beautiful activity for all the people.

Usually in my vacations, my dad and me (Actually, my family in general) make an “ecologic patrol” and pick garbage in the beach.  In think that the correct use of our environment is something cultural, so, we need make a change in our manners to make a big change in our city or society. 

My friend!

In all my life I had many good friends.  And today I meet many wonderful friends. Maybe is complicated choose between a friend and other friend, because I want to talk to you about many friends. But, I will talk about Pamela, my friend of all the life. I meet Pamela around 1996, in my childhood in my neighborhood. I have good memories about my childhood with my friend, such as ours children’s games in the afternoon, travels with imagination and first of all ours stroll in tricycle. Pamela is an important part of my life and I feel that she is a family friend, because my whole family knows her and loves her.

I share whit my friend good memories and a past in common. We share our holidays too, because I enjoy my time whit Pamela. I love her for many reasons. Pamela is a nice person; is cheerful and sincere.  I can forget my problems and my responsibility when I talk whit my friend. Pamela study closely of me, she study Pedagogy in art in “UMCE”, I think that she is very happy in her career because she can enjoy the small details and make art whit this things. Even though it seems unbelievable (because Pamela lives in my street and study in the same street of me) I see my friend with little frequency because we don’t have much time. But the time with my friend is beautiful.

Language, communication and blah blah blah

The language is one of the most important ability of the human being and is very important for develop a correct humane treatment. Definitely our present is a product of our past, so we need recognize and able to understand how we had built our way of being. I think that the past was important in this process, above all, how our ancestor found a new way that get to separate of other animals.

I agree whit Mr. Pagel in the great majority of his postulate because the language was and is a factor that modify and changes our environment and as Mr Pagel has announced in a correct way in his video, our technology is connected whit the evolution language (an important factor today).

We know the meaning of language. But we are Chilean, and coexist in a specifically territory whit other persons whit specifically culture. In that case, probably the Chilean people share special elements in the language that make us different of other countries, such us Spain, Japan or South Africa. So, how people Chilean use this vital tool? I think that is in the Chilean way. Because we use specials word that make us different and probably, only other Chilean can understand and this fact allow that we generate identity and one special communication, a little more personality. I feel very comfortable with my language. Although we have many mistakes (if you consider “the correct way”), but don’t matter, we fulfill the requirements for realize the communication.

     

The Chilean way

Hello everybody! I am good, but a little fat… and the fault was of my wonderful holydays. I ate and slept a lot, but it was nice while it lasted.Definitely, this public holiday is an important subject for the great majority of the Chilean people, include me, because independently if you in accordance with the real cause of this celebration, the festive atmosphere whether you like or not, is involve.We have many different methods to celebrate, the best possible way for each family or group. So, although each person go for a different style for celebrate, is important to remember that we are Chilean and share whit other Chileans a lot of characteristic, custom and territory. But, a Chilean is a Chilean because you can come to feel that you are a Chilean and you recognize and feel identify with other group of persons. It is very cultural.We have many customs, but I think that in particular we love the food, because and this day we celebrate, as is becoming the custom whit a lot of food and drink. I think that we generate around the food, a sensation of comfort and identity whit the other. Besides, this is my favorite custom jajaja, I feel identify whit this fact, and I love the food.

I think that we need celebrate everything in our culture, because is wonderful, but merit especial attention our roots, but not only our Spaniard ancestry (We can’t refuse this fact), we need find one’s ethnic side and celebrate this reencounter whit us. 

Holidays and tiquitiquiti

What can I tell you?  If you remember I said in the last post on my blog, that I need an eternal rest … Ok, is exaggerate, but I really wish a well-deserved holidaysL.

Usually I’m going to Cartagena in fifth region, but not in the public holidays because the traffic is terrible and the accumulation of people is huge. And I prefer the pacific days, to walk and to know or visit many places.

But, I really love a specifically beach; “Punta de Tralca”. This beach is near of Cartagena, in the fifth region too. I visit this place very frequently in the summer. Here I cross the ocean swimming jajaja its joke, but I really love swim, and this beach it’s perfect for this purpose. Hear you can take a walk for the rocks because the view is really beautiful. I like this beach, because is a beautiful example of our beaches, is calm the great majority of the year (apart from the summer), I can swim, I can walk on waterline and I can sleep.

Punta de Tralca is perfect for me, because is situated in the central coast, it means that we can travel in a small bus and know well the beach, visit a few beachside restaurant (the food in the littoral is the best thing of all), etc.  I really hope that you can visit this place, because is gorgeous and deserve be visited.

Be careful in this holidays, don't finish like the cat and try to keep alive for finish your semester.

Past and Present

The last time was very fast. I could not come to have holidays, but don’t matter, I never take the opportunity to do something in my free time. We had long strikes in this faculty in the last semester; I felt that this strikes was lost meaning and strength with the time, but I think that every act is useful for the experience. (And this act isn’t the exception). In conclusion, I finish with lock sleep, tired and hungry, but everything came out well.

I hope that this semester can be funny and finish well like the last semester. I have well disposed, so I hope too can read all the text and not suffer from nerves at the last minute. This semester I take seven subjects, for example “study of investigation” “sicology”, “ethnography”, “prehistory II” “ Ethnology” “Materialism” and clearly my last English (I hope) . I think that ethonology can be a interesting subject.

In this days I feel quiet and I want apply all my energy in my objective. This can be a great semester or year. I have many plans for the summer or  even for my free day. But above everything I want enjoy my fridays. But now, rigth now... I need sleep.

“A picture says a thousand words"

Although it’s true that im not a photographer and generally I don’t take photographs, but I totally agree with the phrase “a picture says a thousand words”, this is one of the most correct popular phrases in our culture. I really enjoy a lot to see so many beautiful pictures in all the world and feel a little closer of the feelings of the people.

This photography was taken by David Hamilton. This artist was very controversial for making photographers about teenager’s girls, and for this reason he was accused of promote child pornography.   But I think that he prove for himself, through of her photos that this isn´t true. The photography that you see was taken in 1995 by Hamilton and be part of an album named “The Age of Innocence”.

This photography in general it says a lot, because this eroticism demand the participation of the observer because his photographs suggest, don’t display. We can see in this image a young woman in the floor, she is naked and she looks carefully her reflection in a mirror.

I love this photography because is sincere and show a typical process of all the women, and in fact of everyone; the moment we begin our self-examination. In this process we found consciousness of our body and our recognition.
